The Workplan Editor allows you to give each one of your components a chain of highly customizable events. Events can be set up with conditional statements. Note: this page follows Overview and Components. This is the final step in creating and saving your product.

From the New Product page select the Workplan tab under Product Details.

The Workplan page is displayed. On the top left you will see black rectangles representing all of your existing components. There is only one component at the moment: Cover. Hover over the grey canvas and click.

Workplan Editor

The Workplan Editor page is displayed. To the right of the canvas there are five collapsible menus: Print, Prepress, Production, Assemble, and Logic.

To start, select the Print category to open the drop-down Print menu. The full list of available printers is displayed.

Click and drag the printer you wish to use to the right of the Cover box. A smaller grey box with a dotted border appears. Drop the printer into the box.

The printer now appears in your workplan chain.

Now that ILIYA ONE NOTE PRINT is part of your workflow, you may customize its properties and add skip conditions. Click on the ILIYA ONE NOTE PRINT box to highlight it (see #1). The printer options appear below the grey canvas. Click on the down arrow to expand the options menu (see #2).

Conditional logic

You may add more conditional logic to your workflow using the Condition label. Conditions are added between Print/Prepress/Production/Assembly items. Begin by clicking and dragging the Condition item to the canvas.

Drag Condition into the space after ILIYA ONE NOTE PRINT and drop it into the dotted-line box to add it to your workflow.

The conditional statement appears in the form of a line that forks into two directions.

The top box represents the first statement (see #1). The box below represents the second statement (see #2). The third box is for the next item in the work chain following the conditional statement (see #3).

In this example, we will create a condition that either adds Laminate or UV Coat to the Cover component.

The last step that follows the two previous options will be the Assemble step.

Drag and drop the aforementioned items into the slots, as explained above.

To specify the conditions, select the rhombus preceding the workflow fork.

Then navigate down to the conditional statements section below the canvas.

Select either all or any for the first part of the statement (see #1). Then click Add Condition (see #2).

A row of conditions appears. Here you may specify the condition (Production Start) and the time frame (see #1). You may add as many conditions as you like. Click X to delete the condition. The Go to condition is automatically populated based on your drag-and-drop on the canvas (see #2). You may change your selection at any time. The change will take place on the canvas as well.

Else goes to automatically populates as Laminate. If you select a different option from the drop-down, it will change on the canvas as well.

If you wish to add additional conditions, click Add Branch.
