Deleting a folder erases the folder from the list. The user can delete a single folder using the ... menu or use the checkboxes to select one or more folders to delete at once. Follow the steps below to delete one or more folders:


via the ...  Menu


1. Click to open the Files tab. The All Files list is displayed. 


2. Navigate to the desired folder to delete.


3. Click the ... menu to the right of the desired folder on its row. 


4. Click to select the Delete option. The Delete dialog is displayed.


5. Click the Yes button to delete the folder.


Click the Cancel button at any time to close the dialog without deleting the folder. 

All files contained in the folder are also deleted when the folder is deleted.  

Once a folder is deleted, it cannot be recovered.


via the Checkboxes


1. Click to open the Files tab. The All Files list is displayed. 


2. Navigate to the desired folder(s) to delete.


3. Click to select the checkbox(es) next to the desired folder(s). A menu appears

at the bottom of the page.


Click a checkbox again to deselect the folder.  


Click the Deselect all option on the menu to uncheck all checkboxes.  


Folders and files can be moved together using this method, but if a file in the In Piazza state is also selected, the Delete button is not displayed.  Folders and files can only be deleted together when the file is in the Checked state.


4. Click the Delete button. The Delete dialog appears with the names of the selected

folders listed.


5. Click the Yes button to delete the folder(s).


Click the Cancel button at any time to close the dialog without deleting the folder.

All files contained in the folder are also deleted when the folder is deleted. 

Once a folder is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
